Our Story
Project-U-Turn is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Detroit. For many years, we have been serving individuals in Detroit and the surrounding areas through our youth programs, independent living housing for former substance abusers, and various community programs.
The Project-U-Turn Youth Program provides character education and prevention programs for youth aged 11-18. These programs are offered in partnership with schools, organizations, churches, and communities, and we have been delivering these services for over two decades.
The Project-U-Turn U-Academy offers workshops and seminars aimed at enhancing life skills, entrepreneurship, and personal development for individuals.
The Project-U-Turn Second Chance Program is set to offer reentry support to individuals returning home from prison, facilitated through partnerships with various organizations.
Finally, Project-U-Turn Community Services is committed to collaborative efforts to rebuild the neighborhood and provide support services to residents in the immediate area.
